Gravenberch has struggled to make an impact in Bayern Munich's first team due to the presence of Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka in midfield.
In his debut season, he has only scored one goal and provided one assist in 22 appearances across all competitions, with his first Bundesliga start being only last week against Borussia Monchengladbach. However, he was withdrawn at halftime in that game due to his underwhelming performance, although he has started twice in the Champions League group stages.
Gravenberch was also left out of the Netherlands squad for the 2022 World Cup due to his performance. Despite this, Liverpool is closely monitoring Gravenberch's situation at Bayern, and enquiries have already been made.
According to reports, Bayern still has faith in Gravenberch, but if his playing situation does not improve, he may consider an exit from the club.
Although Gravenberch signed a five-year deal at Bayern until 2027, Liverpool is actively seeking to strengthen its midfield options as a matter of priority.
