According to reports, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is interested in signing a new goalkeeper during the upcoming summer transfer window. Liverpool's poor performance this season has prompted Klopp to speak publicly about the need to refresh the first-team squad, with midfield being the priority area.

While other positions are also being considered, such as right-back and centre-back, Klopp is also looking to make changes in the goalkeeping department. Alisson Becker has had a relatively good season despite some notable errors, but Caoimhin Kelleher is seeking regular first-team football and is expected to depart.

Adrian, currently the third-choice keeper, is also expected to leave, freeing up a spot on the substitutes' bench. The amount Liverpool is willing to spend on a new goalkeeper may depend on their investment in improving their midfield, despite having the fifth-best defensive record in the Premier League this season.
