Juventus secured their 15th Coppa Italia trophy with a tight 1-0 win over Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico. Dusan Vlahovic netted the decisive goal just four minutes in, sprinting towards the goal and striking it past Marco Carnesecchi.

Vlahovic nearly doubled Juventus's lead in the second half, but a review showed he was offside before heading the ball into the net. Atalanta's Ademola Lookman came close to a late equalizer, but his powerful shot hit the woodwork.

Juventus held firm to claim their first major trophy since the 2020-21 Coppa Italia win. For Atalanta, their 61-year wait for the Coppa Italia continues, though they have another chance for silverware in the upcoming Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen.

Amid rumors that Juventus might part ways with Massimiliano Allegri at the season's end, the focus was solely on the Coppa Italia final. Allegri's team started strong with Vlahovic scoring early, capitalizing on Andrea Cambiaso's through pass for his 18th goal of the season.

Atalanta struggled to break Juventus's defense in the first half, managing only one shot on target. In the second half, Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini brought on striker El Bilal Toure, sparking some early chances. Lookman’s deflected shot went just wide, and substitute Aleksei Miranchuk missed a promising opportunity, sending his shot over the bar.

Vlahovic thought he had scored again with a header from Cambiaso's cross, but it was ruled offside. Atalanta nearly equalized when Lookman’s powerful strike hit the post. Juventus also saw Fabio Miretti’s shot crash against the crossbar.

In stoppage time, Juventus's Mattia Perin made a crucial save to deny Ederson, securing the win with Vlahovic’s early goal being enough.

Gasperini now faces his third Coppa Italia final defeat with Atalanta and continues to search for his first major trophy. He hopes to change that when his team faces Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final next week in Dublin.
