Remember Jens Lehmann, the legendary German goalkeeper that was part of Arsenal's all conquering invincible team that went through an entire Premier League season UNBEATEN, and ultimately winning the league?

Well! He also made history by wearing only just one glove throughout the season.

Lehmann once said he wouldn’t change those gloves unless Arsenal lost that season…

He wore them through all 38 matches, playing every minute—over 3,420 minutes! 👏

Those gloves are now on display at the Arsenal Museum at the Emirates Stadium.

Lehmann is the second most-capped player in Arsenal’s 49-game unbeaten streak ❤

He played 47 of those matches, same as center-back Kolo Touré. The top appearance holder is Thierry Henry, who played in 48 games 👌

Will Arsenal's UNBEATEN record ever be matched by another premier league team?
