Former Chelsea and Arsenal winger Willian has signed with Olympiakos as a free agent after leaving Fulham this summer.

The 36-year-old Brazilian parted ways with Fulham when his contract expired and has now joined the top team in Greece’s Super League. Willian was spotted alongside Olympiakos owner Evangelos Marinakis, who also owns Nottingham Forest, while attending Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.

During his two seasons with Fulham, Willian made 67 appearances and scored 10 goals after joining from Brazilian club Corinthians in 2022.

Willian’s career in England began at Chelsea, where he spent seven years between 2013 and 2020. During that time, he won five major trophies, including two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, and the UEFA Europa League. He then moved to Arsenal, where he had a less successful stint.

In a recent interview with BBC Sport, Willian mentioned that he still feels capable of playing until he turns 40.
