Ivory Coast Winger, Nicolas Pepe has secured a move to Spanish side Villarreal, signing a two-year contract as a free agent after spending a year in Turkey with Trabzonspor.

During his time in Turkey, the 29-year-old scored five goals in 19 appearances. Now, after a difficult stint at Arsenal, Pepe has a fresh chance to prove himself in one of Europe's top leagues.

Despite his £72 million ($92m) transfer to Arsenal not going as planned, Pepe showed glimpses of his talent, making 112 appearances and contributing to 48 goals for the Gunners.

Additionally, he has scored 10 goals in 46 appearances for the Ivory Coast. Pepe remains a skilled player with much to offer, and this move to Villarreal could be the perfect opportunity for him to demonstrate his abilities at a high level once more.
