Despite moving to Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo can still play in UEFA Champions League

A clause in Cristiano Ronaldo's contract with Saudi Arabia giant, Al-Nassr has revealed that the 37-year-old can still play in the UEFA Champions League, provided a certain Premier League team qualifies.

The 5-times Ballon d'Or winner signed a contract with Al-Nassr that will see him earn €200Million a year which averages €23,000 per hour. Also included in his contract is an opportunity to play in the Champions League with Newcastle United.

According to a report, a clause in his contract indicates that if Newcastle United qualifies for the Champions League this season, he can go on loan there, as they are owned by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund.

This simply means the 'Mr Champions League' could return to the biggest stage should Newcastle qualify.
